Doctor, philosopher, revolutionary, Che fought for self-sufficiency for Cuba and countries throughout Africa and Latin America. Che - and Fidel - wanted self-sufficiency for Cuba, through education, participation, farming and indigenous production. They knew well the importance and power of growing one's own food.
