Born of Cherokee parents in Indian Territory in 1879, Will Rogers, an entertainer and satirist of the first degree, was a champion of the underdog. His remarks in support of the relief initiative October 18, 1931 became known as the "Bacon, Beans & Limousines" talk. Much of what he said rings true 90 years later and, now as then, provides nutritive food for thought. ~ Ed.
